Description

A balanced mix of annual and short-lived perennials that can be used for a single season or left growing for 2 to 3 years.

Highly attractive to bees and butterflies, this diverse selection of species produces a continuous supply of blooming flowers, providing an abundant food source for pollinators throughout the growing season.

Bees & Butterfly Mix is also a perfect green manure containing many legumes that will add nitrogen, loosen compacted soils and add organic matter when tilled.

It forms a cover and establishes very quickly, with some seeds germinating as quickly as 3 to 5 days and flowers developing within 30 days.

The seed mix has a large range of planting dates from May until August, but it is best to plant after the risk of spring frost has passed.

Mix includes (see pictures): Buckwheat, Sainfoin, Sunflower, Meadow Fescue, Crimson Clover, Phacelia, Alfalfa, Chicory, Red Clover, Persian Clover, Alsike Clover
