Description

A perfect granular all-around fertilizer for growing garlic, and is the #1 choice for our farm! Made in Canada with high-quality ingredients and standards.

The ORGANIC SLOW RELEASE 7-3-4 formula is gentle on your plants and will feed them for up to 2 months. Supplies the macronutrients (N-P-K) needed for strong, healthy roots and leaves, helping you grow the biggest garlic bulbs possible.

A 2kg bag fertilizes up to 330 plants for 3 applications (only $0.09 per plant for the whole season!). Can also be used to fertilize all other vegetables, flowers or ornamental plants. Can be stored for more than one season.

Can be planted alone, but works best when used in combination with Bone Meal Organic Fertilizer and season-long Seaweed Fertilizer applications.

ORGANIC SLOW RELEASE 7-3-4 can be broadcast, however, we recommend that it is placed directly with each clove or banded (placed in the planting rows). Placing fertilizer close to the plants is the most efficient method of fertilization and allows you to fertilize a larger area.

Directions

Apply once in fall and twice in spring (1st when plants have three leaves, 2nd time 6 weeks later).

For direct placement, apply 1/4 cup with each clove or plant. When applying before planting, it is best to place the fertilizer just below the cloves or incorporate it into the soil to a depth of 2 to 3 inches. After planting, it can also be top-dressed, lightly covered with soil and watered in.

For banding, apply 1kg of fertilizer (as a 1 to 2-inch wide band) directly into 250 linear feet of planting row. When applying before planting, incorporate 2 to 3 inches deep. Cloves or seeds can be placed directly on top of fertilizer. When applied after planting, it can be top-dressed, lightly covered with soil and watered in. Deep incorporation is not recommended.

For broadcasting, apply 1kg of fertilizer for every 100 square feet of growing area.
