Garlic Growing Resources

The following pages listed below have garlic and other farming related information (such as organic production) offered by various government extension services and other valuable sources. They provide free resources to the public on a number of subjects for educating new farmers and helping existing growers with reference material.

Although much of the information among government sources is similar, every province and/or state has slightly different agricultural recommendations and advice that relates best to their local soils, landscapes, climates and markets. For example, growing garlic or other crops in a mild climate can be very different when compared to a region with extremely cold winters.

Therefore it is always good to examine as many sources of information as possible and then decide what best applies to your growing circumstances. When we began growing garlic, a lot of what we first learned was found in these pages of information.
