Culinary Food Garlic

Our Culinary Food Garlic is 100% Canadian-grown on our farm. It is high quality and has a superior flavour. Just like our premium seed garlic, we take great care in the growing process, with each individual bulb being inspected multiple times throughout the season.

Two varieties to choose from.

(1) PURPLE STRIPE - Cloves have heat when eaten raw and a wonderfully rich, complex garlicky flavour when cooked. Skins have purple stripes with pink to deep purple colouring.

(2) PORCELAIN WHITE - Cloves are strong when eaten raw, sweet when baked, and mild when cooked. Skins are white to slightly purple. 

Bulb sizes vary slightly, but the average is medium (1.75" to 2"), which is perfect for use in cooking.  

Culinary Garlic can generally be stored for 3 to 5 months, depending on the time of year and varieties included. There are approximately 10 to 12 bulbs/pound.

NOTE: Many customers also buy our Premium Seed Garlic for eating when wanting a specific variety. All our seed bulbs are perfectly suitable for eating.
