Description

Persian Clover is an annual legume that is native to the Eastern Mediterranean region. The pink flowers are wonderfully fragrant and attract many beneficial insects and pollinators.

It is fast-growing, producing a thick high-yielding canopy that is perfect for livestock or wildlife feed, protects the soil and is extremely competitive against weeds.

Persian Clover is capable of fixing large amounts of nitrogen (up to 150 lbs per acre) in a short period of time. Its rapid growth makes it ideal for soils needing a quick fertility boost.

Persian Clover is very well adapted to various soil types, tolerating both waterlogging and mild soil salinity. It can be grown as a single species but is typically grown with other cover crops such as Annual Ryegrass, Daikon Radish, other Legumes and cereals.

Can be used with EcoTea Seed Inoculant for increased nutrient efficiency, improved root development and higher disease resistance.
