Sizing
Our wholesale garlic seed varies in size from Medium to Extra-Large. The average size is generally large (2") and is perfect for planting.
Description
BIG BOY - (OUR FARMS #1 PICK) Porcelain variety that grows big plants with big bulbs. Sweet Flavour. On average, there are 8 to 12 bulbs per pound and 4 to 6 fat cloves per bulb.
RUSSIAN RED (MOST POPULAR) Purple Stripe variety with medium-sized cloves that produce medium-sized plants. Produces large bulbs when planted in good soil with high fertility and moisture. On average, there are 8 to 12 bulbs per pound and 8 to 12 cloves per bulb.
MUSIC (MOST GROWN & BEST YIELD) Porcelain variety with very fat cloves. Will produce large plants next year, making them a perfect choice when wanting big bulbs. On average, there are 8 to 10 bulbs per pound, with 4 to 6 cloves per bulb.
Depending on the season, the wholesale seed garlic may have slight imperfections such as misshapen bulbs, minor nicks, open wrappers or slightly stained skins. Although the planting quality is similar, our premium (regular) bulbs have a more rigorous selection process and tend to be more perfect in appearance than our bulk bulbs.
